Promoting Excellence and Innovation in Research
CeAND’s missions aim to promote excellence in research by engaging multidisciplinary teams. This involves conducting and promoting innovative studies in the field, coordinating multidisciplinary research initiatives, encouraging collaboration between researchers and institutions, and facilitating access to necessary resources to support cutting-edge research.
The primary goal is to make significant advances in understanding, diagnosing, and treating neurodevelopmental disorders, thereby helping to improve the quality of life for those affected.
Strengths of Our Network
- More than 3,000 children with NDDs are followed each year at Montpellier University Hospital and within diagnostic and care facilities
- 200 researchers and clinicians are involved through Montpellier University of Excellence (19 clinical and epidemiology teams, and 21 basic research teams)
- Over 1,300 patients are monitored within national autism cohorts
- User/family associations are active partners in project governance
