Neurodevelopmental disorders are common conditions in the pediatric population, affecting approximately 15% of children and adolescents. These disorders encompass a heterogeneous group of conditions that share a significant functional impact on the affected child or adolescent, as well as a reduction in the family’s quality of life.
These disorders can often be identified early in development, frequently before the start of primary school, yet their diagnosis and management still tend to occur late.

The candidate must work in a healthcare or social care field, whether public, private, or independent, with children and adolescents who may have neurodevelopmental disorders.
In their professional role, the candidate performs tasks related to identification, diagnosis, referral, and care pathway coordination.
Asynchronous online learning allows learners to access educational content (theoretical video modules, bibliographic resources, practice exercises, multiple-choice quizzes) at their own pace and without time constraints. Learning is carried out independently and entirely remotely.

This University Diploma include 7 guided teaching sessions (ED) based on clinical cases, delivered via 1.5-hour videoconferences once a month, totaling an estimated 10.5 hours over the academic year.
The candidate may continue their studies with the University Diploma in Neurodevelopmental Disorders : Support Practices, offered in a hybrid format (combining in-person and online learning).
